strawberry-milkshake-85h.jpgIf you’re going to clean your plate at the Hard Rock Café you are going to have to be pretty hungry when you first sit down. The hamburgers are enormous, the club sandwiches are colossal and they don’t skip on the side dishes either. No one I know, except for my brother, makes as good a strawberry milkshake as the staff of the Hard Rock Café. If you visit on a Friday morning at 11:00 (in the fall, winter or spring) you’ll find that entertainment is included with the food. They call it “family rock”. If you wake up late on Sunday and missed breakfast, not to worry: the Hard Rock Café serves a wonderful brunch.

hrc-eric-clapton-87h.jpgThe walls of the Hard Rock Café are covered with guitars, gold records and other Rock & Roll treasures from the 1950s through the 90s. Don’t be surprised if your parents go wide-eyed when they see one of Eric Claptonms Stratocasters or some of ABBAms outrageous stage costumes hanging here. I canmt remember a time when the Hard Rock Café wasn’t there on Sveavägen in Stockholm. It opened it’s doors for the first time on the day of my second birthday more than two decades ago and remains one of my favorite restaurants in Stockholm to this day.
