scones.jpgYou’ll have to be on your best behavior and show your finest manners if you want to partake in the Hotel Diplomat’s afternoon tea. But if you like elegant furnishings, are prepared to lift your pinky finger as you drink your tea, and people-watching is one of your favorite pastimes, then this is a good place to be. Every day the staff of the Diplomat produces not only scones but also the most elegant pastries, cakes and finger sandwiches, and serves them all in classic style on fine china and linen. It’s quite an experience!

Monday to Friday, afternoon tea is served at the Diplomat beween 14:00 and 17:00; for breakfast, brunch and lunch hours, see their website.
